- Google got many complaints from its users that if they click on a result and its difficult to find the actual content, they get irretated.
- Also the visitors are not happy with that experience.
- Users want to see only the content part what they need rather than showing flash banners, advertisements and affiliate links at the header of the website.
- If a site doesn't have a very good content and not relevant are the sites which are not a very good user experience.
- Google understand that placing ads above the fold is quite common for many websites; these ads often perform well and help publishers to monetize their online content.
- These algorithmic changes affects websites which load the top of the page with ads to an excessive degree above the fold.
- This new algorithmic improvement tends to impact sites where there is only a small amount of visible content above the fold.
- This change affect less than 1% of searches globally that means less than one in 100 searches.
- If your website is affect by this algorithmic change consider that how your webpages use the area above-the-fold or otherwise hard for users to discover your content quickly.
- You can use the famous Browser Size Tool, to see how your website would look under different screen resolutions.
- The page layout algorithm will automatically do the changes as it re-crawl and process enough pages from your website to asses the changes at the time when you decide to update your page layout.
- Googlebot can crawl your content, the time limit depends on several factors which includes the number of pages in your website.
- In a typical website, Googlebot takes more time to crawl and to prefer the changes on the site.
- For website publishers, make your visitors to get a very good experience by visiting your website and not to focus on a specific algorithm tweaks.
