We sit down, open up our blogging platform, stare at the empty post screen and the blinking cursor just waiting for something to do, and...nothing. Nada. No way. There are zero ideas happening. It's easy to get discouraged. It's easy to stare at the cursor and think hateful things about it, its family, and its family's family (if cursors even

Website Issues 4 :Robots.txt Fetch

If don't see any errors in Robots.txt Fetch then you satisfy yourself that your site is crawling by Google.

Apart from the above Website Issues, there are some more issue we're going to discuss here.
If your site suffers from Server Connectivity problems, your server may be rebooting, then again your site not available for crawling by Google. So make sure your site is live on net 24x7. Google Webmaster Tools helps you to find out each Website Issues in unique manner. Say DNS Erros, Server Connectivity and finally Robots.txt Fetch. So use this wonderful tool to find out your site erros and rectify it immediately.

Google Webmaster Tools display Site Errors Data from the last 90 Days.

If you're not sure or not know what is the particular error about, then just place your mouse over the Error Issues Box it will display What is that error all about (Short Description) and also you can learn more on this matter by clicking that "More Info" link on the short description box.

I hope this post will clear all your doubts about Website Issues (Website Errors) and how to rectify those errors. If you have any questions, suggestions, please drop your comment on Webmaster Forum

Inbound Links Spam Sites

Inbound Links Spam Sites
Inbound Links Spam Sites
Recently Google starts sending New Messages to most of the webmasters regarding Inbound Links Spam pointing to their websites via Google Webmaster Tools. If you get one of these messages then don't get panic.

Let we discuss about Inbound Links Spam Sites in detail

What is Inbound Links?

Inbound links are otherwise called as Backlinks, Incoming links, inward links, incoming links pointing to your Website URL or WebPage URL or WebPost URL. For more information about inbound links you can read it here.

What is Natural Links?

For example if your website is about "Web Designing" then your site getting links from different websites on the same topic (i.e Web Designing) then it is called as Natural Links. Now I explain this in detail. If you get links from Digital Point Forum, Google Webmaster Forum, any Webmaster Forum, any Web Technology Website(s), Yahoo Answers, Web Designing Websites, Ask.com, About.com, Hubpages (from Web Designing Category) then it is termed as Natural Links.

What is Unnatural links according to Google?

Suppose if your website not getting links from the above said websites then it is termed as "Unnatural Links" or "Spam Links" according to Google and Google losing confidence on your entire website or a particular post or a particular page. If your website participate in Link Spam posting links on irrelevant websites, illegal websites, porn websites or something related to the above topic. Then Google consider your site as "Not Trusted Website"

Read this below paragraph by Google

For example, that can happen when we believe a site has been engaging in a pretty widespread pattern of link spam over a long period of time. If your site is notified for these unnatural links, we recommend removing as many of the spammy or low-quality links as you possibly can and then submitting a reconsideration request for your site.

In a few situations, we have heard about directories or blog networks that won't take links down. If a website tries to charge you to put links up and to take links down, feel free to let us know about that, either in your reconsideration request or by mentioning it on our webmaster forum or in a separate spam report. We have taken action on several such sites, because they often turn out to be doing link spamming themselves. This Paragraph Courtesy : Google
  1. Don't create post exclusively to give links to some website(s).
  2. Don't create artificial links which is not related to your website category or topic.
  3. Don't post your website links on irrelevant sites, illegal websites, porn websites or spam websites or link exchange or bulk emails.
  4. Don't join in a link scheme. Don't post your website link on those link schemes.
  5. Don't participate in Widget spam or don't put widget on your site pointing towards spammy websites (in other words Spammy Links Building or exchange websites)
  6. Don't involve in Paid links from irrelevant websites or spammy websites which is already discussed above. Putting your website links on spammy websites Google distrust your website entirely or partially depending on the number of links your site getting from those spammy websites.
  7. Don't involve in Guest Book Spam, Blog Spam, Excessive Articles Submission, Excessive Link Submission via Link submission software.
  8. Don't give Anchor text name for your widget for a particular keyword or phrase. Google consider this also spam. If your widget 100% relevant one and also link to particular website also in same category with higher page rank then there is no problem. If your widget links pointing towards spammy website. Then your site will be penalized by Google for such practices.
  9. Don't give Top or Below links in the same post too often. Don't give too many links to other part of your website (other post or other pages of your website) always follow Google Webmaster Guidlines.
  10. Don't approve readers comment before you read the comment fully and also make sure that readers posting URL's 100% relevant to your post or page or your website "niche". If your reader try to put some spammy links or irrelevant links on the comment then you will be the loser. Your page rank will drop down drastically and your website taken out of Google Search Index for that post or page or entire website on a whole. So beware of spammy comments on your website.
Remove those spam links (if possible) immediately. If you're running a company, somebody in your company involve in these type of Link Spam or joined the links schemes and try to spoil your website image. Find out those spammy links or unnatural links via Google Webmaster Tools messages section and remove as early as possible. Previously if your site involve in link spam or getting links from spammy website. Google distrust your website on a whole. But now Google only penalize your site pages or post (not entire site) in that way we thank Google for showing some liberty.

If you get any of these above messages from Google. Then don't get panic, but you can't ignore this on a whole. The recent message sent by Google not distrust your website on a whole but some pages or some post of your website causing this trouble. So remove them immediately and then send request reconsideration of website to Google.

If you receive any new message from Google regarding inbound spammy links then don't get panic. Try to remove them

How to Optimize Labels and Category

If you're using Labels in Blogger or Category in WordPress. Try to create one word label or category.

For example : Google, Yahoo, Feedburner, Traffic, HTML, SEO, RSS, Blogging and so on.

If you want to create two words lables or category then use (-) hyphen between the labels or category.

For example : Google-Plus, WebDesigning, Google-Products, Blogging-Tips (or) you can join the words like BloggingTips.

So, if you follow the above rules correctly then it will never shows error like %20% for space while Google crawl your website.

Happy Blogging:)

Is Your Theme Effect to Decrease Visitors

SEO Tips #2
Question : Is theme effect to decrease visitor?? One of my blog had 1000 visitor daily but since I change template blog visitor goes down.
by Chetu Jadhav

Perambur Kumar100% Yes. Even 5 pixels makes huge difference in Search Engines Results. So before modifying or changing to another template first upload that template to some other blog and see whether it's works well according to your needs and expectations. If you not then don't change the template. Going on changing the template never gives you expected results. So always stick with one template and use it for ever.

For WordPress users :

I suggest Freshlife Freshlife Theme and Daily Daily WordPress Theme (No coding knowledge required. Sharing buttons already installed in Home Page as well as on Posts pages and another important thing both templates are 100% SEO Friendly one.

For Blogger users :

I suggest Blogger Template Designer - Template Gallery here you can design and modify according to your needs and taste. So my suggestion is don't go for third-party template especially if your using blogger platform.

Bottom Line : If you're going on changing templates means you will not only lose traffic from search engines but also lose huge amount of Adsense income. So don't change your template too ofter. Select the best template for your website and make sure if you want to change the template. Read review of that template from others before using it for your website.

Seo Tips for Blogger BlogSpot

SEO Tips for Blogger : One
SEO Tips for Blogger : One
If you are using Blogger Blogs then read this post further.

First Step : Stop using third-party blogger templates for your blog is my sincere advice to all my online friends. That will never help you in Search Engine Rankings and also in long run. Always use blogger template designer template(s) for your blog.

For this first go to blogger Design -> Choose Template Designer where you can design your own template with attractive layouts options.

First of all, third-party templates have so many errors. Rectifying these errors itself Himalayan task and time consuming one. Blogger like me don't want to waste our precious time on this matter. So directly go to Blogger Template Designer. Choose your template, make some modifications  you want and straight away start writing the post and publish it.

You can modify these templates according to your own needs. You can change the width of the template, color, header-background color, main-background color, font size, link color, navigation bar and also css to some extent possible.

If you want to share your blog post(s) with others in social networking sites then choose share this sharing buttons for your blog. I personally recommend this buttons for you because I am using this buttons for all my blogs.

I hope you find these suggestions useful one. If you happen to have further questions on blogger tutorial or how to optimize your blogger blog more efficiently then post your comments below or I would like to encourage you to drop by our Create a Website Webmaster Forum and take advice from our expert webmasters.

Bottom Line : Make sure to check your new blog URL is crawlable by Googlebot by using Fetch as Googlebot option in Google Webmaster Tools after submitting your blog site map to Google Webmaster Tools.

Breadcrumb - Pros and Cons - For Blogger / Websites

Before proceeding to the main argument. Let discuss about "What is Breadcrumb".
Breadcrumbs are a user-friendly navigation, which appears horizontally across the top of the posts page below the "Post Title".

Breadcrumbs always provide a link back to the previous page(s) or a category or a label or a home page of the website from the current post page. It's easy to navigate your site hierarchy.
Breadcrumb - Pros and Cons
 Breadcrumb for Websites

A greater-than sign (>) often serves as hierarchy separator, although designers may use other glyphs (such as » or ›), as well as various graphical treatments. This Paragraph Courtesy : Wikipedia

Types of Breadcrumb
  1. Path : The path of the breadcrumb is dynamic takes the user from home page to the current page of the website. Every post it can change.
  2. Location : The location of the breadcrumb in other words "Label" or "Category" or "Group" never change and it is always static one.
  3. Attribute : Always gives you an idea about the current page and also listed below the particular category.
Breadcrumb Properties : Example
<a href="http://www.example.com">Home</a> ›
<a href="http://www.example.com/Tourism">Tourism</a> ›
<a href="http://www.example.com/Tourism/India">India</a>
it look like this, when it is added to the website
HomeTourismIndia

So now you understand the hierarchy of the website. Here in the above example you notice one thing. The website may not be related to "Tourism" for example About.com In this website there are more than 600 categories or sub-domains. But home page is About.com in the same way. In the above said example the Home page is a general topic like (geninfo.com / getinfo.com and so on) but when it comes to category division you have to mention the category exactly matches the topic of the post. Now you understand the importance of Category or Label to be used in the Websites and blogs.

Property Description
Home Index page of the website
URL URL of the Category / Label
Post URL Followed by Post URL

Now we come to the main discussion part - Breadcrumb Pros and Cons. Whether we've to use breadcrumb for our websites or not? Whether Breadcrumb really improves search engines rankings or not? What is the real benefits of breadcrumb? What is the drawbacks of breadcrumb? What is the difference between Breadcrumb and Permalinks. So questions going like this...my answer is simple after reading the above things. Now you've an idea about what is breadcrumb? Whether this breadcrumb really helps my search engine rankings or not? How to use this breadcrumb on your website or blog and so on.

First I request my friends to see below two images of my website www.way2onlinejobs.com on Google Search Results page. First image is for the keyword "Google AdSense Training" and Second one for the phrase "how to add meta description in blogger".

Image One
Breadcrumb displaying in Google Search Results

Image Two
Breadcrumb displaying in Google Search Results
When you mark up breadcrumb information in the body of a web page, Google can identify it and use it to understand and present the information on your pages in our search results. This paragraph courtesy : Google

After reading the above paragraphs now you know the importance of using breadcrumb in your website. But I read one article about breadcrumb Why breadcrumb not seo friendly for your blog?. few days back. Whether you accept with the linked article? or not.
If your site or blog have more than 30 posts then I personally recommend to use breadcrumb. That is category or label. If you're using wordpress then start using category, if you're using blogger blog then start using labels. Without purpose why Wordpress and Blogger have that option on their respective platforms and Google strongly recommends to use labels and category for the websites and blogs. But so called "SEO Experts" not aware of this fact or in other words they're not fully SEO Professional according to me.

I ask one question to my fellow bloggers or so called "SEO Experts" without crawling your blog post(s) fully,  how Google display your site post(s) on Google Search Results Page and that too on Top 10 of the Google Search Results page is million dollar question. First of all I tell one thing. Google crawls entire website (which includes Home Page, Post Page, Category, Labels, Archives, Post Title, Meta Description, even Widgets in the sidebar and footer) So people saying if you're using breadcrumb (category) in your website or blogs your blogs or website listed only for few keywords and not for all the keywords (or more number of keywords or phrase) is meaningless discussion according to me.
Bottom Line : Google gives more options to its users not only to read the post but also read other articles related to the post. (namely: Category / Label). There is no drawbacks or cons according to me when you're using breadcrumb on your website. Infact breadcrumb helps your readers to read all the older posts related to the particular category which they're looking for or in other-words they're eager to read. In other-words breadcrumb gives lives to  older posts of your website.

If you want to add labels to your blogger blog - You can watch this video here. You can optimize your labels and categories to make your post seo friendly one

Note : Already Meta Description option for home page as well as posts page added in New Blogger Interface. Now it's time to add breadcrumb to blogger blogs. Hope, blogger team will consider this in the near future.

If your wordpress theme already not having breadcrumb option then you can install this plugin from this site Breadcrumb by Yoast

What are some best practices for indicating breadcrumbs?

If you want to share anything related to this topic, then you're welcome to post your comments and feedback in the comment box.

Enjoy Blogging:)

How to Improve Alexa Ranking Quickly

Alexa Rankings always "Unknown" one for me. There are some experts in this. I kindly request them to answer. How to reduce Alexa Rankings say below 50,000.
Alexa Rank is a measure of the traffic to your blog. The right way to improve Alexa rank is to increase the traffic to your blog.
How to Improve Alexa Ranking Quickly
Consider this scenario. You can get a certificate from a competition saying "You won first prize". Now, instead of participating in the competition and getting the certificate, you can go to a printing press and print some certificates.

By asking how to improve alexa rank, you are asking the same question. Should I participate in the race or print some certificates.

Focus on your blog and write great articles, Apply some basic SEO. Keep the blog upto date with great content. Once your traffic goes up, your Alexa rank also will improve.

Any methods to artificially improve Alexa rank is similar printing some certificates in a press.

If you are too keen on improving your Alexa rank rather than improving traffic of your blog, then focus on writing articles that attract other bloggers and webmasters to your blog. All those people will have Alexa tools installed in their computer and when such people visit your blog often, Alexa will think your site is too popular and your Alexa rank will be higher than the normal numbers it deserve.

I don't think I'm expert in improving Alexa but I could bring bivori below 80K in three months. All I did was promote my post to people from different countries. I noticed that as you go on extending the geographical reach, you improve Alexa very quick.

I noticed, Alexa is not true representation of traffic, but rather, the spread of number of countries. If you can spread your traffic in 200 countries, I bet, you'll get alexa below 1K

Apart from promoting posts in wide geographical area, I obtained some Alexa review for my blog and placed Alexa badge on my blog for some time. I think, this too helped to boost.

rel="nofollow" - Are you commenting just for a link - Think Twice

"Nofollow" provides a way for webmasters to tell search engines "Don't follow links on this page" or "Don't follow this specific link." - Courtesy : Google
Previously, "NoFollow" attribute given to individual page Meta Tags. Like the following one
<META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="Index, NOFOLLOW">
But things are totally changed now. Webmasters now using this attribute for each and every link in their pages. Highlighter showing in Red is NoFollow Links and Highlighter showing in
Blue is "DoFollow"

rel="nofollow" in comments
For all inner pages of the website, webmasters giving "DoFollow" links and all external links they are giving "NoFollow" links sadly it includes reader's "Comments". Now you see what Google says about "NoFollow" Links.

Before nofollow was used on individual links, preventing robots from following individual links on a page required a great deal of effort (for example, redirecting the link to a URL blocked in robots.txt). That's why the nofollow attribute value of the rel attribute was created. This gives webmasters more granular control: instead of telling search engines and bots not to follow any links on the page, it lets you easily instruct robots not to crawl a specific link. For example:
 <a href="signin.php" rel="nofollow">sign in</a> Paragraph Courtesy : Google
Now the big question is "Where I've to use NoFollow Links?" in my website. Whether I can give all external links as "NoFollow" links. How I want to make a decision on this issue.

After seeing the above image still you have doubts, whether my comment link is NoFollow or Dofollow. I tell one thing just select that "Red Highlighter - Author Name" and then select "View Selection Source". There you see Author Name is "NoFollow" and your website is "External NoFollow".

According to Google, you may consider giving 'NoFollow" links to these three below categories.

1.Untrusted Sites - Untrusted Content

  • Comments from Spammers
  • Guest Book Entries
  • Guest Authors giving links to their website which is not a trusty one.
  • Affiliate Programs which are not related to your "Niche"
Don't recognize these comment spammers, guest book entries, guest authors authors giving unwanted links to their websites which is not trust in nature. Affiliate Programs not related to your niche. But you can consider giving "DoFollow" links to Comment Authors & Guest Blogger who are genuinely contributing for your blog development.

2. Paid Advertisement
Always use "NoFollow" attribute to all paid links which can be mentioned as "Advertisement" or "Sponsored LInks". You must give "NoFollow" to these links.

3. Crawl Priority

You can't tell search engine to crawl "Sign-up" pages and "Register Now" pages or Advertise Here Banner. So you can give "NoFollow" attribute for this purpose.
But you can give Crawl Priority to other pages for example : Category URL's, Post URL's, Page URL"s, URL's which is important for readers on the basis of the content of the pages.

You can also use "NoFollow" attribute in Robots.txt.

User-agent: *
Disallow: /images/

User-Agent: Googlebot
Disallow: /cgbin/

So you can tell Googlebot not to crawl those pages like images, cgbin etc.,

Are you commenting just for a link - Think Twice

Whether you're really getting a "DoFollow" link after leaving your comment in the Top Blogger's
Blog? My answer is "No". Because they're using "NoFollow" and "External NoFollow" for outer
Links.

Now come to main part, most of the webmasters giving "NoFollow" attribute to all comments
in their blog posts. They're using two type of attributes one is

1.Name of the Author - NoFollow
2. Comment Author Website - External NoFollow
3. All CommentLuv Links are NoFollow. Oh My Goodness

Around 99% of the WordPress bloggers don't know they're using "NoFollow" attribute for all
the comments in their blog.

Usually "NoFollow" attribute using to stop comment spamming. Wikipedia now started using
"NoFollow" to all external links passed through.

Friends if you see "NoFollow" attribute in any blog. Stop posting comments on that blogs.
Don't waste your precious time by commenting on that blog. Their blog may be 10,000 Dollars
Worth. But what is the use of it. Especially for you, so before posting comments first visit the
"View Page Source" then leave your comments.

NoFollow means, you can take it like this 'Don't follow my blog" "Don't visit my blog" or
"Don't Make Comment on My Blog Post"

According to me "Everyone passes "Are You Human" confirmation" they must get a "DoFollow"
link. Everyone who passes Captcha confirmation, they are eligible to get "DoFollow" link

NoFollow mainly use to increase Google Page Rank. Most of the Top Webmasters or Top
Blogger now started using nofollow attribute for all the external links and reader's comments

They want PageRank and their posts must be in Top 10 of the Google SERP. They don't care
about their so called "Website Audience"

How to Find "NoFollow" links in any Website. Now I introduce one add-on plugin for both
Mozilla Firefox users and Google Chrome users

Mozilla Users - Download here
Google Chrome Users - Download here.

So now I stopped using Comment Luv and start using Google+ comment system in my blogger
blogs.
